Viking Volunteers is mainly an opportunity for students to expand their horizons and provide service to their community. Our volunteers have a designated number of hours each month or year dedicated to volunteering in Iowa, Green, Lafayette, and Dane counties. The volunteers have selected some interests and skills that they have and the student cordinators match their interests with a volunteer activity needed. The volunteers have been asked to abide by some rules of conduct when volunteering, including a "no excuse, no exception" for being a no-show or being late/leaving early without permission from organizations.
