District Administrator

Welcome to the Pecatonica Area School District's webpage! I'm thrilled you're taking a moment to learn more about us and all of the amazing things happening here at Pec.  I want you to feel welcome in our school district and if there are any questions or concerns that you might have, please don't hesitate to reach out to one of the principals, our staff, or me directly so that we can help you.

I just completed my first year with Pec and cannot tell you how excited I am to be a part of this Community. I've had the opportunity to work in both small rural and larger urban districts, and I can say without a doubt my heart lies with smaller but mighty districts like Pecatonica. My goal is to continue the great tradition that is the Pecatonica Area School District...truly a district of excellence. Did you know that both our Middle School and High School have been identified as Top Schools in the country by U.S. News and World Report?!

We will continue to work together to create a family where all students feel a sense of belonging and empowerment to pursue their dreams and passions. Our curriculum will continue to be challenging, rigorous, and relevant. We take great pride in the many different subjects, advanced placement, and career and tech-ed options that we offer. We truly are preparing our students to be 21st century global leaders. Our number one goal is to see our students excel in life, wherever it may take them.

I want our district to be a hub of parent and community involvement. Our schools are designed to be welcoming and are fortunate to have incredibly active parent and community activities and organizations.

A bit on my background:
I am the daughter of a dairy farmer and registered nurse. I began my career in public education over 25 years ago as a school psychologist. I have served as an educational administrator for the last 11 years both at the local and state level (Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction). I earned my doctorate in educational administration back in 2016 from Edgewood College. I am passionate about student and staff mental health and take pride in providing an educational experience that supports the whole child. I am also an adjunct professor for UW-Eau Claire.  I have a varied background in public education, and when I think back on my experiences, I realize now that I have worked in every level of public education from K-12 through college.

I hope that you enjoy your visit to our website and get to know more about the great things that Pecatonica has to offer. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out.
