Pecatonica High School - Senior Spotlight Gracie Gordon Future Plans: This fall I will be attending Edgewood College to pursue my dream of becoming a Neonatal Nurse. Favorite Teacher: Mr. Hambrick will forever be my favorite teacher, not only was he my biggest motivator and the only reason I passed Algebra, he shared so much wisdom and knowledge that I will hold onto forever. Not only would he send me off with homework to do he sent me off with something to think about that would make me better for the next day. Favorite Pec Memory: My favorite memory at Pecatonica was homecoming, there is better feeling then expressing our pride for our school, playing games, dancing, decorating, and making unforgettable memories. Advice for Underclassmen: Sit in the student section at games, go to prom, dress up for homecoming week, experience high school. These are the memories you'll remember forever, it really does go by in the blink of an eye.

Pecatonica High School - Senior Spotlight Siri Thronson Future Plans: I plan to attend the University of Wisconsin Madison to major in Elementary Education and minor in Broad-field science. I hope to use my degree to become a middle school science teacher. Favorite Teacher: I found value in many of my teachers, but one of my favorites would have been Mr. Roberts. He pushed me to my limits in his classes, especially AP Biology. He also was part of my inspiration to become a science teacher, alongside another wonderful teacher, Ms. Sciborski. Favorite Pec Memory: I have so many memories at Pecatonica, but so many of my favorites are from sophomore year before the pandemic. Advice to Underclassmen: My advice for underclassmen is to make every moment count. Study for every test, go to every game, try a sport out, make friends in your classes, don't stress the little things. Do the thing you will regret not doing when you're in my shoes.
