Well.......we did it again! Pecatonica Middle School has been named a 2024 Top Middle School by U.S. News and World Report. In fact, PMH is rated as the #38 middle school throughout the entire state of Wisconsin (over 378 middle schools/junior highs). That makes us the top 10% in middle schools. These schools also had strong student performance, college readiness and curriculum breadth, as well as graduation rates. It's National School Lunch Week! Please join us in thanking our food service staff. School lunches have long been a lifeline for so many students across our country. For all families, including those that qualify for free or reduced-price school lunch, parents have the peace of mind of knowing there is a healthy, balanced meal available to their children. Research has proven that children, fueled by their school lunches, can more effectively focus and learn in the classroom.
We are thrilled to share that after months of planning we are at the end of our schematic design phase! During this phase, the core planning team met every other week with the architects and construction company to figure out what our newly constructed and/or renovated spaces should look like. There have been many versions of these plans, but ultimately the core planning team feels like we have successfully balanced the needs of our students and staff with being fiscally responsible to our tax payers. We want to personally thank everyone for the input and ideas we have received along the way.

Information for anyone planning to attend the Pec-Argyle vs Parkview Football game tonight Friday September 8th:
The village of Orfordville is also throwing their annual Orfordville block Party Tailgate prior to the football game on Friday night from 5:30-7:30 PM. All are welcome to join in on the tailgating fun at Purdy Park (100 W Church St. Orfordville, WI 53576) prior to the game. Due to the tailgate party, parking will be limited at the elementary school. There is additional parking behind the high school. Spectators that park behind the high school will just need to walk the access road that goes from the high school, around the outfield fence of the baseball diamond, and up to the east end of the football field.
